Anyone know how to halfblock/turtle a 05 prostock, I just got my E2 on and its sweet also wondering if the QEV's are necisary since the guy who installed my E2 (idiot) seems to have stole a piece off my QEV's leaving me to have to purchase my own, anyways i got a hold of a team down here in Reno which in joining (centermass) and they have a hella good cocker tech guy reminds me of exodus (best cocker tech in C.O. by far) who rigged up my gun and got everything lookin sweet and taught me a few sweet things on the way.

You are best having it sent out. To do it correctly you want someone with a CNC maching to do the milling because any change in the backblock location can cause additional stress on the ram and bolt.

The best thing to do it to purchase a Pre-milled and Anno'ed bodies, Turtle sells there bodies for something like 225$ There are lots of companies that will sell you pre-milled and anno'ed bodies.

If you want to send it out it will likely cost more but I can get you a quote

Either way you will have to dissasemble your cocker and re-assemble it on the new body, That will require re-tuning and a new bolt that will fit the new back block. If you buy the body a cockersmith can do the switch in about 2 hours.

8) Gotta love those cockers. I thought about the E2 for my sto but I can shoot fast enough with the hinge. Besides the thought of $450 for the E2 and then the cost of instalation and then the risk of something going wrong was too much for me. Plus I dont play tournys. The speedball games I have played in the gun performed great. And you cant beat them on accuracy period 8) 8)
