Thats right the Naughty Dogs from Albany signed with SP and will be shooting a new ND Shocker and Ion kits are in development. The Dogs will still be wearing head to toe empire gear though.

I feel worse for WDP and WGP. Look at what happened to there pro team options.

The Dogz have gone thru atleast 4 sponsorers that I can remember.

autocockers in general are pretty much dead technology, but ya bob long cant be to happy, losing teams like that, WDP is a good company, but i mean there teams are more definitly foreign and what not

WDP has quite a few small teams out there, but i dont recall a major team from them. WGP is pretty much dead like said before, but they just came out with a sik marker (atleast i think it is).

naughty dawgs sponsers : ICD ( i think im not really up on things here, naughty dawgs freestyle?) intimidator, and now SP...what was there other sponser?

they were sponsored by WGP when the original black magic came out.

WDP has avalanche, Another west coast team. Couple of them live in oregon.

WGP will always have a following aslong as there are a few dedicated people with a cocker or 2 in there kit. The Karnivore is as good as any tourney marker ive ever played with

jordan name a small wdp team you know of, they have like joy and arsenal, a few people wont save WGP, it was a big company and was doing good for along time and really kicked off speedball with there markers, but there def on the fast track down hill

NDs were: WGP, Bob L, then addition with ICD, then now SP

:( I think its sad. Its coming down to 1 or 2 companys controling 90% of the action, teams and paintball brands. I know its just business but I like cockers and I also like that there are so many different guns out there. I mean who wants an all Ion or all Angel paintball world :cry:

All I have to say on the subject is that when you get a few companies controlling the whole thing you will start to see laziness, lack of new innovations, and an altogether let down of what could be. This has proven itself in just about every aspect of life just look at American made cars and how they are continuing to fall behind foreign cars. Or you can look back at basic technology when America used to be the greatest country in technology around and now Japan is. Why these things happen is because America has gotten down to simply a few major companies in just about all things so those companies just sit back and make deals with each other so they can stay rich and greedy but true pioneering of better and newer things die. That is why sadly war usually boosts imcrease in just about all things level of advancement because it forces sides to have to think harder and compete to make things better. That is why I hope small great new idea thinking companies continue to pop up in paintball and keep the improvements coming. Because these companies don't have to media or the money like the big companies all they have is the ability to make and improve.I also find it funny how big companies in almost everything including paintball always say how revolutionary and great their new things are when usually they are not really much better than before and could be so much greater. Like most of the 06 stuff compared to the 05 stuff ohhhh ahhhh so what if it is 1 inch shorter and 1/50 of a lb lighter it will usually perform the same as the older ones. Or be just barely better so it has some improvement. I mean they don't want to make it too much better then they would have to actually work so hard that they would have to actually care about the quality of the product.

Well that was my two cents in a nutshell.

it says in the "naughty dog sp deal signed" topic in the news forum that they are looking for other sponsers

and as for wdp i dont see why and body thinks there going away any time soon, they have got the perfect omount of teams (not to many that the free guns drive them outa bussinuss, but not to little that nobody sees there guns)

if you go to PBN youll see how popular there guns are and how they sell really high even used, the G7 is and expensive gun but has sold strong at nearlly 1600 and the DMC has gone from 1700-1250 and nobody buys them, plus wdp is still a leader in gun technology
